Daily Grammar Sentences
Instructions: Give the student the sentences in the second column (Sentences to be Corrected). Students write corrected sentences and turn them in to the teacher to be checked.

Assessment can be made on three levels in Daily Grammar Sentences:
- Did the student recognize the mistake?
- Can they fix it?
- Can they produce a sentence using that grammar point in free speech?
Activity
Type of Activity: Independent
Materials Needed: Cassette tape and recorder
Directions for student:
Think of your favorite movie star or your favorite character. Imagine what their life is like. Pretend that you are them. Now, think of what you will be doing tomorrow. On a tape, tell your teacher your plans: At 10:00 tomorrow I will be meeting the President. At 11:00, I am going to be flying home. Make up one thing for every hour from when you get up until when you go to bed.
Assessment: Through teacher observation, based on the quality of sentences produced.
Grammar Explanation
Like with past continuous, you must have a time marker to indicate when you will be in the middle of doing something. If a group of sentences are all related, the time marker only needs to be said in the first sentence so that it does not become redundant. In the remaining sentences, it is implied.
I will be visiting my friend this weekend.Going to can be used instead of will. See the explanation for future tense .
We will be playing lots of games and having lots of fun. (The time marker is not needed in the second sentence too.)
They are going to be cooking at 6:00. They will be cooking at 6:00.Negatives and questions are formed just like in the present continuous.
